It's not incredibly hard to picture Vince McMahon's face upon first meeting Mick Foley. Impressed more by physical presence and chiselled muscles than anything else, the patriarch of the WWF must have viewed Foley as somebody who would be more likely to stare at the ceiling for his stars rather than be one himself.

Hammering home that feeling, Bruce Prichard told an interesting story on an edition of his Something To Wrestle With podcast. Discussing the first time McMahon met face-to-face with Foley, Prichard says that Vince kept calling the wrestler by the wrong name. Instead of Mick, McMahon repeatedly referred to Foley as 'Mike'.

To his credit, Mick corrected the boss several times. Defying the odds is something Mick Foley has always had a habit of doing, and he would later go on to become one of the most cherished stars in McMahon's entire empire.

For that reason, it's borderline hilarious to imagine Foley getting hot over McMahon's unintentional disrespect. Even those who go on to become legends have to put up with nonsense from time-to-time it seems.
