10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (Sept 22)
9. Daniel Bryan Would Pick Shinsuke Nakamura For His WWE Return Match
Talk has started again that Daniel Bryan fancies a return to the ring sometime soon. This isn't likely to happen in a WWE ring, because the company fear Bryan's injuries and concussion issues could flare up again. That retirement speech Daniel gave early last year was his parting shot as an in-ring performer under the McMahon umbrella.
On Twitter, Bryan revealed the one man he would wrestle in WWE if it was at all possible. It's not Kurt Angle, it's certainly not The Miz and it isn't even an old enemy like Triple H or Randy Orton. For Daniel, wrestling Shinsuke Nakamura would be a complete dream. For fans, it'd probably be best if that match took place outside WWE anyway.
Nakamura hasn't been able to show his best in the company quite yet. In a perfect world, someone like Bryan would help him bed in through a series of hot matches, but that's not going to happen. Facts haven't stopped Bryan from dreaming though, and he didn't even hesitate in naming Nakamura.
