10 Wrestling Heel Turns That Should Be Erased From History
10. Miss Elizabeth
Perhaps no big star in the history of televised professional wrestling has ever looked so uncomfortable being in the spotlight than Miss Elizabeth did.
As a babyface, it was kind of endearing to see this beautiful, yet shy woman enter this world of larger than life characters who liked to yell a lot. But as a villain, she looked so out of place that it was simply uncomfortable to watch her.
Even though she managed the heelish Randy Savage in the 1980s, she remained pure in the eyes of fans. We never saw her cutting expletive ridden promos or giving his opponent low blows. She was a class act, even when Savage was at his most deranged. But when she went full-on heel in WCW, well...we should probably just forget all of it.
In 1996, she reunited once again with Savage, but soon turned on him to join Ric Flair as a manager of the Four Horsemen. She then turned on him, and joined the nWo where she made out with Eric Bischoff. It was weird, and you kind of felt bad for her. Nothing against Eric, as he had those Ken Doll good looks, but you could visibly tell it wasn't her thing. Still, the company kept her as a villain as she later teamed up with Lex Luger.
Through it all, we couldn’t find it in her hearts to be mad at her. No matter who she was with, they seemed to be manipulating her. We wanted her to be free and happy. So let’s remember her run with Savage in the '80s, and just agree that everything after the SummerSlam wedding in 1991 never happened.
