Bo Dallas Royal Rumble
WWE Network

Prior to the 2013 Royal Rumble, WWE held a special Axxess-style event in Phoenix. At the show, an eight-man, single-elimination tournament was held to see which member of the NXT roster would earn a spot in the Rumble. Bo Dallas, who at that time was a babyface, won the tournament, entered the Rumble, and eliminated Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett.

By competing in the match, Dallas earned a unique distinction. The star - who was 22 at the time of the bout, having been born in 1990 - was the first man in a Royal Rumble match who had been born after the first Royal Rumble match. In fact, as the first Rumble was held in January of 1988, it wasn't even close. Dallas wasn't even a glint in IRS's eye when Hacksaw Jim Duggan won the inaugural bout and, in fact, the first three Rumbles happened prior to Dallas's birth.

If you started watching wrestling in the '80s, well, Bo Dallas came after all of your earliest memories, and he's in WWE right now. He's not doing very well, though, if that's any consolation.
