After taking exception with Mickey Rourke and the film The Wrestler, Chris Jericho decided to take his frustrations out on retired stars - namely Ricky Steamboat, Jimmy Snuka, and Roddy Piper. At the behest of Ric Flair, Jericho accepted a match with the three men, but it felt like a waste of Y2J at the grandest event of the year.

The bout was an elimination match, and Jericho quickly and unceremoniously eliminated Snuka and Piper - both of whom looked absolutely terrible. The real surprise, however, came when Y2J and Steamboat locked horns. 'The Dragon' was one of the best athletes in wrestling during his heyday, but the 56-year-old hadn't competed in a match since suffering a back injury 15 years earlier. Nevertheless, Steamboat stunned fans with an incredible performance, outworking almost everyone else on the show.

Jericho ultimately defeated Steamboat with the Codebreaker, but the former NWA World Heavyweight Champion was the real winner. He actually parlayed the performance into a brief comeback, and would wrestle Jericho in a singles match the following month at Backlash.
