10 Wrestling Matches Where The Wrong Guy Went Over
8. Hulk Hogan Vs Randy Orton
It's difficult to put this one down to anything other than ego - since, when you think about it, there is no other explanation for Hulk Hogan, a semi-retired 50-something, going over Randy Orton, one of WWE's brightest young stars.
To date, this is Hogan's last match in WWE (something that is unlikely to change, all things considered), and given the scarcity of his appearances, coupled with the company's inability to tempt Stone Cold or The Rock back into the ring, you imagine they were keen to keep him happy.
Which was fair enough when it meant throwing Shawn Michaels under the bus in 2005 (mainly because the result was hilarious), but when Randy Orton took the bullet a year later? It left a sour taste.
