A popular choice when discussing the greatest WWE match of all time, The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 25 is a stone-cold dramatic classic that finished highly on many a Match of the Year ballot, and had the crowd so hot that the World Heavyweight and WWE Championship bouts that followed didn't have a hope of getting over.

The contest almost ended in disaster as Undertaker attempt to dive over the top rope. Michaels was on the outside and supposed to pull the cameraman in his way to take the bump and cushion 'The Phenom's' fall, but said cameraman (Sim Snuka in disguise) failed. This meant one of WWE's biggest legends crashing into the floor head-first, then lying around for an uncomfortably long period of time, prompting a "Jesus Christ, he might be dead!" response.

Undertaker would eventually recover to answer the 10-count, keep fighting, and conclude one of his most legendary matches. While the contest was already on its way to greatness, it was impossible not to be gripped after his horrendous bump. Yes, 'Taker likely came within an inch of paralysis, and it was the narrowest of narrow escapes, but the scariness put the world on edge.
