4. Joe Hendry Completely Forgot His Lines During His Big WWE Moment (WWE Raw, 2014)
Making an appearance on Monday Night Raw can be a pretty stressful experience for an up-and-coming wrestler. Just ask poor Joe Hendry.
All the way back in 2014, the Scottish former WCPW Champion was given the opportunity to appear as Rusev's lawyer after impressing WWE producers with his Russian accent and the way he delivered the lines handed to him on the day of the episode.
In fact, Vince McMahon was said to be so happy with Hendry's work that he actually gave him some more dialogue to utter in his glorious accent before the show went on the air.
But as Hendry would recall when appearing on Tommy Dreamer's House of Hardcore Podcast (via PostWrestling), this added pressure of having more lines to memorise actually freaked him out to the point of completely forgetting what he was supposed to say on his way to the ring.
That's precisely why Hendry appeared to be very much taking his time during that first portion of his big moment on the mic. Not because he was holding the crowd, as Road Dogg hilariously assumed in the aftermath, but because, in his words, he initially couldn't "remember a God damn thing."
And with that in mind, it's now difficult to unsee that subtle look of anxiousness as a panicking Hendry steps up to the mic.
