10 Wrestling Moments IMPOSSIBLE To Watch The Same Way After This
3. Bryan Danielson Works The Last 10-Minutes With A Broken Arm (AEW X NJPW: Forbidden Door 2023)
Bryan Danielson is a masterful professional wrestler.
He's arguably the true GOAT.
And if you needed another example why, then look no further than his ridiculous performance at this year's Forbidden Door.
Ten minutes before the end of his epic main event clash with Kazuchika Okada, the 'American Dragon' started to sell a battered arm. In fact, this apparent "injury" was so severe that it forced the BCC man to think on his feet and transition from his trademark LeBell lock to an even more savage leg submission for the victory.
Once the dust had settled on this highly physical war, though, it soon became clear that said worked injury was actually anything but.
Danielson had legitimately broken his arm in the bout. But rather than panic, he simply improvised like the legend he is and expertly helped put the finishing touches on a terrific battle.
That alone is enough to change the way you view this spectacle.
Learning that Danielson had also been dealing with a torn labrum and compressed vertebrae after his bout with MJF at Revolution coming into it made an already impressive display seem positively superhuman in hindsight.
