Few moments have left fans seriously questioning the reality of what they see going down on weekly WWE programming than the sight of Mark Henry heart-breakingly confessing that his time in the squared-circle was up, only to deliver the mother of all twists out of nowhere.

Before Henry pulverised WWE Champion John Cena with an emphatic World's Strongest Slam, though, a moment between the pair of legendary names sincerely reduced The Leader of the Cenation to tears, despite being in on the act. After Cena offered Henry the title to hold during what appeared to be his send-off, Henry told the star, "I don’t deserve to hold that. I never won that. I’m not gonna do it."

Hitting a nerve with the eventual Hollywood sensation, Henry would recount on the AEW Unrestricted podcast that Cena "just started crying because (he) had emotionally got to him."

As many assumed the entire sequence of events leading up to the jaw-dropping twist were planned, Cena's waterworks were thought to have been as genuine as Henry's words on the mic. But in truth, The Face that Runs the Place had just been legitimately emotionally powerslammed by the words of his colleague.
