10 Wrestling Moves Wrestlers Refuse To Do Anymore

1. AJ Styles - Shooting Styles Press And Spiral Tap

When AJ Styles finally made his presence known in Vince McMahon's empire in 2016, those who weren't fully informed as to who The Phenomenal One was were quickly brought up to speed on precisely what the former TNA and NJPW star could bring to the table.

Yet, those who had been basking in the brilliance of the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion were quick to point out that, this wasn't quite the same Styles who'd been setting the Impact Zone and Japan on fire over the last decade.

Unfortunately, time waits for no man, and the now-former WWE Champion has openly admitted that, while he'd love to be able to let rip a few of his greatest hits from years gone by, there's a very real risk he could do some serious damage to himself if he were to attempt some of those moves in a WWE ring today.

He stated as such during a Twitch stream in September:

"One move I'd like to bring back is the Shooting Styles Press. I'm just afraid I'd hurt myself doing it; I'm not a young cat anymore. Same deal with the Spiral Tap - I'm getting too old to be pulling that stuff. I'd probably hurt myself trying that one."

Shooting Styles Press and Spiral Tap or not, the once-in-a-generation performer can still wrestle rings around just about everyone on the Monday Night Raw roster.
