10 Wrestling Moves Wrestlers Refuse To Do Anymore
2. Jeff Hardy - 450 Splash
Jeff Hardy has turned throwing caution to the wind into a career choice over the course of the last thirty years. So, you'd be forgiven for assuming that no move is off-limits for The Charismatic Enigma.
But, you'd be wrong, as the former World Champion has gone on record to state that he refuses to perform one specific high-flying act ever again after one rather gnarly landing.
Whilst speaking on The Art of Wrestling podcast in 2017, Hardy admitted, “I stopped doing the 450 because I over-rotated and jacked my shoulder up. I thought I broke my collarbone or something, but those days are over, so I’ll stick with the Swanton (Bomb).”
On top of being the third person on this list to kick a 450 splash out of their repertoire, Jeff also isn't in a rush to pull off another Shooting Star Press during the remainder of his time as an active performer.
Seeing as though the 43-year-old is still happy Swanton Bombing off of ladders on WWE television, it's safe to say nobody will be clamouring for him to restore either of those undoubtedly hazardous weapons to his move-set any time soon.
