10 Wrestling Reboots More Famous Than The Original

2. The Women's Revolution (Knockout's Division)

WWE love to remind us how much new ground they're breaking with their exciting women's division, which was forever transformed a couple of years ago when they decided to ditch the whole "Diva" thing and put wrestling in the spotlight instead.

And while it's good that they're proud of how far they've come, fans of TNA (not to mention AJW aficionados) might question whether this territory is really all that uncharted. The Gail Kim-headed Knockout Division came to prominence about a decade earlier, bucking stereotypes in exactly the same way.

It wasn't quite as good, admittedly. They didn't have the same depth of talent, which meant that the quality of the matches was found wanting any time one of Kim or Awesome Kong wasn't in the ring. (It also had a stupid name, but that was never TNA's strong suit.)

But still, it's a rare example of a wrestling trend that reached the Impact Zone long before anyone on Monday Night Raw had even thought about it - even if Vince McMahon's version is ultimately the one that will be remembered by the history books.
