10 Wrestling Returns That Would Improve WWE TV

3. Christian

Christian sent Twitter into a frenzy last month after posting a photo of his old wrestling boots, which in turn prompted Randy Orton to - sort of - invite his old sparring partner back into the ring for another match.

It's definitely among the more likely returns. Despite his considerable experience in the ring - it's been nearly 20 years since we were first introduced to Christian, then a part of The Brood - he's still only 43, which makes him just a couple of years older than the likes of Cena, AJ, and Lesnar.

His last run ended after a concussion, so any return to the rough and tumble of professional wrestling - even if it is just for the one match - would of course have to be preceded by a green-light from the docs.

But it's a prospect hard not to get at least a little excited about.
