10 Wrestling Talents That Were Immediately Buried By WWE

3. Taz

The final ECW name that got buried in WWE might be the most egregious waste of talent of them all. Taz was an unstoppable force in ECW, and was booked where every one of his title fights had the big fight feel of a boxing match. He was one of the biggest free agents in the wrestling business when he signed with the WWF in early 2000, and got one of the biggest pops of the night when he debuted against Kurt Angle at the Royal Rumble in Madison Square Garden. Unfortunately, Taz€™s biggest weakness, his size, wasn€™t enough to win over Vince and the creative team. He immediately was relegated to the Hardcore division, and turned heel later in the year and got beaten by Jerry Lawler. Fortunately for Tazz, he developed a second career as an announcer and had a 9-year run behind the desk commentating Smackdown and the new ECW, but his in-ring career can only be deemed as a failure.
