In a previous article about the most protected stars in AEW, your writer stated that AEW know that they have something with Cargill but it doesn't feel like they know exactly what.
It's been nearly a year since Cargill stepped out from the back as an unknown entity and began mixing it up in a strange storyline involving Shaq. It didn't really go anywhere other than a fun novelty match and since then, AEW have done a good job of protecting her but you can't help but think she is treading water.
That will change in 2022.
Of the entire AEW roster, men and women included, Cargill is one of the most striking in appearance. She oozes confidence and charisma and she certainly has the build to be a dominant heel in the division. By the end of next year, that's exactly what she will be.
She's been getting her reps in on Dark and Dark: Elevation, and AEW would be smart to put her in a few programs with the likes of Ruby Soho and Hikaru Shida. Those ring generals will be able to raise Cargill up another level, and as stated earlier in the article, Thunder Rosa is perfect to follow Britt Baker as champion.
Jade Cargill should be next in line.
