10 WWE & AEW Wrestlers Who DESPERATELY Need A New Direction

When is Kenny Omega going to wrestle for the AEW World Championship again?

Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks have long since passed the point of needing each other in their respective careers, and each would be best served to go their separate ways for the time being. Don't get us wrong, their trios matches against Death Triangle have been fun to watch, but AEW needs Kenny to step away from the tag division and back into the singles.

Kenny earned his Best Bout Machine moniker through a host of dizzyingly great one-on-one matches and, as his show-stealing bout against Will Ospreay proved, he hasn't lost a step since returning from injury last year. Putting top-tier talent in top-tier positions is wrestling 101, and AEW is no exception to that rule.

AEW have managed to avoid putting Omega and current champion MJF in each other's crosshairs thus far, but now is the time to pull the trigger on the feud. The best performer in the company against the best promo? Hopefully, 2023 is the year we get to see it happen!
