Blood was synonymous with the early run of Hell in a Cell matches. In spite of Shawn Michaels' brutal beating, Mick Foley's tumble off the cell and 4 of the 6 guys blading in the 'Armageddon' Cell match in December 2000, no Cell match ever got bloodier than this one in 2002 between Undertaker and Brock Lesnar. You can thank Undertaker cutting an entire chunk out of his forehead for that. Brock Lesnar, in spite of his monster push, still came across as relatively green in the build up to this match.
