10 WWE Champions Who Never Lost Their Titles

Daniel Bryan's crowd-sourced rise to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion in 2014 will be talked about for years to come.

As fans across the world engaged in active and often vitriolic rejection of Bryan being overlooked, a meritocratic phenomenon occurred within WWE, as the course was changed and Bryan was rewarded with a championship reign.

Regrettably however, the years of punishment Bryan had put his body though to achieve his well-earned reputation had taken their toll on him and, only four weeks after winning the title, he underwent neck surgery. As the weeks passed, the Authority threatened to strip Bryan of the championship, while wrestling fans began to fear the worst - that Bryan might not return at all.

The worst was confirmed on June 9th when the Authority stripped Bryan of the WWE Championship.

Returning in early 2015, Bryan won the Intercontinental title at WrestleMania XXXI. In eerily similar fashion to the year before however, Bryan again relinquished the IC title due to injury.

After a six month absence Daniel Bryan retired in 2016, the undefeated WWE and Intercontinental champion.

Making a miraculous return to the ring in 2018, Bryan has still yet to have a rematch for either title.
