Hey, everybody! Remember Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw? He was the most generic possible cowboy brawler, about 20 years after that character was marketable. If he showed up in NXT today with a gimmick that outdated, he'd be what, one of the Men On a Mission?

Bradshaw would go through three gimmicks before catching on at all with fans, a process that took some three years. A 29-year old working an outdated gimmick, incapable of getting either a positive or negative reaction from fans? Not exactly the kind of performer likely to get that coveted promotion to the main roster.

Even if he managed to get over due to his admittedly fun in-ring style -- the Full Sail crowd would eat up his stiff strikes -- he could very well be shuffled out of the company a la Chris Hero for failing to shed his shameful man-boobs.
