The state of this match. The absolute state of it.

Recently, WWE Network staffers tied together some old footage and new interviews in order to reflect a year in the life of Kevin Owens on the main roster for their '365' special. He won and held the Universal Title for a large portion of it, scooped his first United States title and worked his first WrestleMania singles match too. Outcome? The man was absolutely f*cking miserable and the company did nothing to appease him.

Hopefully, Stone Cold Steve Austin was in a charitable enough mood to text 'KO' something positive after this absolute shower, because he presumably received yet another b*llocking from Vince McMahon when he escaped through the curtain alongside Sami Zayn and Daniel Bryan. God forbid 'The Boy Wonder' take the blame for yet again hijacking the work of the real wrestlers for some stupid bloody WrestleMania storyline he'll have to get involved in.

Horrifically executed, the duelling officials craic was utterly chronic. Pity poor Shinsuke Nakamura, who continually looks within touching distance of a decent match for extraneous factors such as this absolute b*llocks gets in the way.

In a predictions piece for this very pay-per-view, a Shane McMahon/Daniel Bryan match at the 'Show Of Shows' was posited, if only because 'The Money' has to have an opponent there. Might 'D-Bry' have cynically worked out how to get back on the card after all? Still, better they be wrestlers than referees.
