10 WWE Comedy Characters That Somehow Didn't SUCK
1. Sami Zayn
Sami Zayn has taken an already great act in The Bloodline and made it a seminal one with his charm and humor making him a huge breakout babyface going into WrestleMania season.
'The Great Liberator' has found his stride on SmackDown over the past year or so after developing his paranoid conspiracy theorist character into a much more emotionally driven direction, vying for the affections of the 'Tribal Chief' Roman Reigns. Humor has been an integral part of Zayn being able to get over as part of the group, clearly positioning him as the sympathetic character of the piece.
Fans have delighted in Sami's deadpan delivery of phrases like "my dawg," whilst his invention of the term 'Ucey' may well have been the most organically funny thing that has appeared on WWE television in decades. He has managed to capture the hearts of the audience so much that many would like to see him be the one to finally dethrone Roman as the 'Head of the Table'.
Whatever is in store next for the 'Underdog of the Underground,' he has already cemented his legacy as one of the funniest performers in the company's history.
