10 WWE Comedy Characters That Somehow Didn't SUCK
6. R-Truth
Like Santino before him, R-Truth has been the punchline in many WWE-produced jokes, but has managed to use his undeniable charisma to make them somewhat entertaining. Fans will have different mileage on how much of his charm actually works, but the often dimwitted and always full of energy Ron Killings seems like he was born to be a sports entertainer.
Truth has managed to be goofy on either side of the heel/face divide too, whether it has been alongside Lil' Jimmy or on his own attempting to win the Royal Rumble by climbing a ladder. His silly and often irreverent form of humor means that he is practically Teflon to the worst of WWE's booking of comedic performers, which is probably why he has been around for so long.
The 51-year-old manages to perform to the same level he did two decades ago whilst also looking the same as he did when he performed as K-Kwik during the Attitude Era. His antics with the 24/7 Championship may have been his last full-time position within WWE, but it perfectly displays how R-Truth managed to turn something that was largely terrible and turn it into gold.
