No, not Christian Cage, and no, not Brian Cage either. Chris Cage was a one-time OVW Heavyweight Champion, defeating Matt Morgan for his one and only reign way back in 2004. Cage experienced much more success in the tag ranks, winning OVW Tag gold four times (three times with Tank Toland, once with The Miz), and the FCW equivalent twice (with Trent Barreta and Curt Hawkins).

It is his time with Barreta that those with good memories will remember, as the duo teamed briefly on ECW and SmackDown. They were known as the Dude Busters in FCW, but for some reason the name was dropped by the time they made the main roster. Cage was also known as Caylen Croft by this point. The team didn't experience much success at all however, and Croft/Cage was released in November 2010.

Chris Cage retired from pro wrestling not long after, and is actually an elementary school art teacher these days. He also authored a children's book titled 'No Beard The Pirate'. Go buy it!

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
