1. Good Friends, Better Enemies

Nobody was particularly surprised when Chris Jericho cost Kevin Owens his title at Fastlane. While it would have made more sense to cost Goldberg the title, so Jericho could face Owens for the belt at Mania, this neatly sets up a hot United States title match for The Show of Shows.

That match has the potential to be a WrestleMania show-stealer, but some housekeeping is in order before that can happen. First of all, KO is entitled to a rematch against Goldberg before WrestleMania, something he may not be too thrilled about. This would be a big main event for RAW, and it should play out as stated above. Owens pulls the same tricks as before, trying to avoid Goldberg to frustrate and tire him. Goldberg tries to spear Owens, but KO dodges it, sending Goldberg out of the ring. As Owens celebrates his momentary giant-slaying antics, Jericho rushes in to deliver a Codebreaker to his former best friend. This results in a DQ, leaving Goldberg’s title (and unstoppable allure) intact, and Kevin Owens even more furious with Jericho than before.

It’s the perfect setup for an already enticing bout, and provides even more motivation for Owens and Jericho to beat the tar out of one another.
