10 WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 Impulse Reactions

3. Braun Strowman Vs Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro

The Undertaker Elimination Chamber
WWE

Sami Zayn, the mad gobsh*te, said he was going to take the Intercontinental Championship from Braun Strowman after him and his aggro mates reduced the Monster to little more than a man and...he did exactly what he said he was going to do.

To recap, Strowman had ploughed through Shinsuke Nakamura to win his first ever singles title in spite of the trio, and comfortably hammered Cesaro in various television exchanges. He'd not been able to get to Zayn though, and thus offered himself up to these less-than-favourable circumstances in order to get what he wanted.

Then, with three people to beat he...couldn't get it done! In the second case of the night where a babyface idiotically put themselves in bother, but The Undertaker had left before he could save Strowman's secondary strap.

Zayn got the win after Nakamura hit the Kinshasa on the Champion against the post - it was right out of WWE's in-house bizzaroworld, but so too was the response. Zayn the wrestler is missed, not least actually holding gold. The pair will obviously meet again at WrestleMania, and it's not likely 'The Underdog From The Underground' lands a punch but the reactions here made it clear just how much people wanted this before they get given that.
