10 WWE Elimination Chamber Records That May Never Be Broken
1. Edge’s Double Duty
Our final record is that of Edge, who - living up to his Ultimate Opportunist moniker - pulled a rare double shift in 2009 that saw him enter two separate Chamber matches in the space of a single night.
Not only that, but he was a major player in each contest.
Entering the first match as WWE Champion, he found himself the first eliminated, thus guaranteeing a new champ would be crowned before the end of the night. He bounced back from that blow in the best way possible though, stealing Kofi Kingston’s spot in the second Chamber match and, against all odds, outlasting his five opponents to finish the evening with the other World title around his waist.
Two Chamber appearances at a single PPV is enough of an achievement in itself, but to pull the old switcheroo, and begin the night as WWE Champion before leaving as World Heavyweight Champion ,makes for the most unique of situations - a great claim to fame and another record that will probably go on to stand the test of time.
