10 WWE Evolution Impulse Reactions

Wrestling with something to prove - because notes on commentary that Bayley and Sasha's 2015 feud had something to do with the WWE Women's Evolution rather than commenting on how it was the turning point for the entire project - 'The Boss & Hug Connection' joined the typically marginalised Natalya and The Riott Squad in turning filler into killer with the surprise package of the night.

The babyfaces were in Hart hot pink. Tellingly, their execution was largely excellent when they finally put their skills together against the comprehensively cohesive heels.

Employing a devious and delightful quick tag game, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan dominated throughout after inventively splitting Bayley's ribs on the inside of the steel post. 'The Hugger's hot tag to 'The Boss' was perhaps the most earned pop of the evening, and the crew still resisted the urge to race to what was ultimately the best finish of the evening.

After Bayley sacrificed her body for Banks, she made a tag to Natalya who unleashed her best ever double Sharpshooter, before the NXT graduates unleashed their own rapid-fire tags to learn from their mistakes and claim the win.

They knew they deserved more, so they went and took it. It was the entire pay-per-view in a microcosm.
