10 WWE Exiles That Need To Return In 2015

7. Samoa Joe

Whatever the reasons behind Samoa Joe€™s departure from TNA, it seems pretty obvious that the man will now be in even higher demand than he already was within the wrestling industry. For their part, WWE is down on Samoa Joe because he doesn€™t look like a male model (frankly, €˜stupid€™ doesn€™t even begin to cover that one), but now that he has severed ties with TNA, it might finally be time to bring Joe €˜back€™ to the WWE. Why €˜back to the WWE?€™ Because in the early days of his career, Joe worked as a jobber for the then-WWF, that€™s why. Yes, it€™s a cheap, flimsy excuse to include him in this list, but that€™s how strongly many fans (including myself) feel that Joe deserves a run at the very top of the sport. For over a decade now Samoa Joe has been considered to be one of the best wrestlers in the entire world. He has been unfairly ignored by WWE for all that time because of his €˜old school€™ looks, but things can always change in wrestling, which is just one reason why we love it. Samoa Joe in the WWE would set the company on fire, he has genuine wrestling appeal, indie cred and he€™s as real as the nose on your face. Plus, we know how well he can work with many of WWE€™s ex-ROH talents. He may not be an €˜exile€™ in the strictest sense of the word, but he€™s the person on this list that WWE seems to be the most down on right now, which is a genuine shame.

I am a professional author and lifelong comic books/pro wrestling fan. I also work as a journalist as well as writing comic books (I also draw), screenplays, stage plays, songs and prose fiction. I don't generally read or reply to comments here on What Culture (too many trolls!), but if you follow my Twitter (@heyquicksilver), I'll talk to you all day long! If you are interested in reading more of my stuff, you can find it on http://quicksilverstories.weebly.com/ (my personal site, which has other wrestling/comics/pop culture stuff on it). I also write for FLiCK http://www.flickonline.co.uk/flicktion, which is the best place to read my fiction work. Oh yeah - I'm about to become a Dad for the first time, so if my stuff seems more sentimental than usual - blame it on that! Finally, I sincerely appreciate every single read I get. So if you're reading this, thank you, you've made me feel like Shakespeare for a day! (see what I mean?) Latcho Drom, - CQ
