Okay, so ladder match probably isn't the first gimmick match you'd thank of when you picture Sting and Triple H going at it. Ladder matches are, after all, the arena of the younger, quicker and more agile wrestler, right? While it's hard to picture Sting or Triple H throwing caution to the wind with reckless stunts and dives, the ladder match would provide them with suitable weaponry with which to punish each other and would make for some great drama. Triple H has produced several stirring ladder matches in his career, even though he's not someone you immediately associate with the stipulation. Fans still rave about his SummerSlam 1998 ladder match with The Rock and Trips carried his buddy Kevin Nash to his best match in years with their ladder match at TLC 2011. Sting has also participated in a ladder match, the highly confusing King Of The Mountain match at TNA Slammiversary 2006. The Stinger even performed a breathtaking Stinger splash from a metal 'penalty box' to the outside which suggests he would not be uncomfortable in this environment.
