10 WWE Gimmicks With Racist Undertones

3. Ivory

The moribund debate around whether or not Ivory 'deserved' a spot in WWE's ever-controversial Hall Of Fame resulted in her vainglorious video package being dissected more for what it missed out than what it included. It was ludicrous of the company to suggest that her squash loss to Chyna at WrestleMania 17 was the pinnacle of her career, but substantially more prudent to avoid discussing the origin of her moniker.

Like the poached elephant appendage only slightly less palid, 'Ivory' was a bright white Valentines purchase for Mark Henry from his friend D'Lo Brown. The former Nation of Domination members were hunting tag gold, but 'Sexual Chocolate's obsession with "white meat" (particularly Champions Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett's valet Debra) was proving problematic.

As Brown himself put it introducing the new aide, "I know you like looking at pretty things. I got you something, and she'll do exactly what you want. Anything, when you want it, anywhere you want it. And guess what brother, she's all yours."

Ivory's arrival sparked a victory for the pair on the night, though she was presumably a little too accommodating of Henry's animalistic needs as they were unable to snare the gold before he was shelved with an injury.
