During a blindfold match, both superstars wear a bag over their head and stumble around the ring trying to find their opponent. The most famous blindfold match is probably the contest between Rick Martel and Jake Roberts at WrestleMania VII, which was actually an entertaining match. Unfortunately, that contest has never been equaled and the blindfold match has become simply pointless. It sucks up a ton of time by forcing the wrestlers to find their opponent, and it is obvious that the competitors can see through the blindfold. The result is an unrealistic match that forces fans to suspend belief too much.
