10 WWE Hall Of Fame 2017 Inductions That Must Happen

4. The Old Timer - Kevin Sullivan

Few men have worn as many hats as Kevin Sullivan in the wrestling business. Coming into the sport with a background in bodybuilding, Sullivan debuted in 1970, but his first decade was relatively uneventful. Sullivan established a reputation as a solid brawler throughout the territories, but he was rarely featured with any prominence before arriving in Memphis, and working with local faces like Jerry Lawler.

Sullivan's career really took-off with his infamous devil-worshipping gimmick in the 1980s. "Evil" characters have since become old hat in the business, but Sullivan was the first to do it, and he created one of the most diabolic personas in wrestling history. He surrounded himself with like-minded sadists in both the NWA and WCW, and while far from the biggest man (5'10"), Sullivan had no problem convincing audiences of his threat level.

Aside from wrestling and managing, Sullivan has considerable experience behind the scenes. He worked as both a booker and road agent for WCW, and while his current role as a TNA producer might serve as a stumbling block, Sullivan has earned his spot. There's barely an aspect of the business that Sullivan hasn't been involved with, and he had a famous run in Florida from 1982-87. With this year's ceremony taking place in Orlando, Sullivan's induction has never felt more appropriate.
