10 WWE Main Roster Stars That Could Jump To NXT THIS WEEK
6. Asuka
NOBODY IS READY FOR ASUKA(s return to a brand where she actually matters again).
In January 2018, the 'Empress Of Tomorrow' won the first ever Women's Royal Rumble following a solid three months away from NXT in which her undefeated streak was kept in tact and her tentative grasp of the English language wasn't focussed upon.
Within a year, she was SmackDown Women's Champion, and already dead in main roster waters.
A Tables, Ladders & Chairs victory over biggest-star-in-the-company Becky Lynch and company golden girl Charlotte Flair did nothing for her rehabilitation thanks to the power of her burial feud with Carmella and James Ellsworth earlier in the year. She defeated 'The Man' mere hours before one of them won the Royal Rumble and the other went to do absolutely nothing on the Road To WrestleMania in the sort of lowkey WWE f*ckery that goes on so much in the company that few people even noticed.
Her contribution to the 'Show Of Shows' took place two weeks earlier when she surrendered said strap to Charlotte Flair in order to allow for the 'Becky 2 Belts' t-shirts after the event itself, and things haven't improved since.
The only person that could have ever been ready for Asuka in NXT was Shayna Baszler, and the pair missed each other by months. A careful rebuild could curate a legitimate dream match for the Wednesday show while saving a career in the process.
