10 WWE Main Roster Stars That Could Jump To NXT THIS WEEK

7. Nia Jax

A textbook example of how NXT can now be both main stage and proving ground combined, Nia Jax's return to the black-and-gold brand whenever she recovers from her double ACL surgery would be mutually beneficial.

Jax became a globally recognised star on the main roster but frustratingly never got around to getting a great deal better between the ropes during that time. This was dispiriting - she'd shown signs of improvement during her original NXT run, but a rushed effort to push her as the league's only monster ripped her away before she was ready.

Though not currently physically up to the challenge, a promo on Night One of NXT's new era would get people talking not just about the 'Irresistible Force' herself but about the potential of other stars migrating to Wednesday nights for new and fresh opportunities.

In Nia's case, perception betters the reality - standing down whomever wins the women's Number One Contender's match just because she can would be a huge statement of intent for her return, and saves the eventual face-off with Shayna Baszler or whomever holds the gold when she's fully recovered.
