Ending a match with a roll up is not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, it can sometime work well, especially if fans are left shocked as a result of it happening. However, the distraction roll up is another finish which occurs far too often, particularly when it comes to Divas matches. This and their matches ending with something as simple as someone being knocked from the top rope just goes to show how poor the booking for WWE's Divas is. Regardless, while the distraction roll up isn't always easy to telegraph, it's still a clichéd finish which occurs far too frequently for it to have any sort of significance. It's also hard to escape the fact that ending a match like this feels somewhat cheap, not to mention unsatisfying. Another problem with this type of finish is the fact that it happens so quickly that the roll up being executed poorly is also a regular occurrence.
