10 WWE Match Results That Didn't Matter At All

When wrestlers win in a way that looks like a complete fluke, it doesn't do much for their careers. Such was the case at Great Balls of Fire, when Braun Strowman defeated Roman Reigns in an ambulance match. Though both men had beaten each other in the past, this time, Reigns basically beat himself - he tried to Spear Strowman, but when the big man moved, Reigns went flying into an ambulance and Strowman shut the doors.

To say it wasn't decisive would be an understatement, but things got worse. Following Reigns's loss, he emerged from the ambulance and staged an assault on Strowman that ended with the former WWE Champion bundling his foe into the ambulance and driving it into a truck. Announcers feared for Strowman's life until he emerged from the wreckage, bloodied.

As of this writing, there's been no followup on Raw, so it's hard to say exactly how useless Strowman's win was. Still, a couple of things are certain - first, Reigns lost the match and Strowman won, and second, that was the opposite of the talking point of the contest when it was all said and done.
