10 WWE Moments That Prove Ruthless Aggression Era Was Best

8. The Rock Draws Mega-Sized Heat With An Acoustic Guitar Concert

There was never a time in The Rock's illustrious career where he was more entertaining and taking so much heat from the crowds than during his incredible heel run in 2003. Taking frequent sabbaticals from the ring to go make movies in Hollywood didn't sit too well with the fans and, despite originally trying to retain his status as a babyface, would eventually turn back to the dark side. And oh was it delightful. He was unleashed, allowed to say every vitriolic thing on his mind (with his usual charisma and humor, of course), and you could hear the glee in his voice as he mocked audiences across the nation. Neither he, nor those watching at home, probably enjoyed this more than during a taping of RAW in Sacramento. Decked out in his ridiculous leather outfit (vest and pants, people), The Rock hijacked the last ten minutes of the show to rip Sacramento and, to a lesser extent, Steve Austin, a new one.
"The absolute best part about being here in Sacramento...is that in about an hour and a half, The Rock is going to leave Sacramento."
He then immediately breaks into a little ditty called "Leaving Sacramento" (sung to the tune of Fats Domino's "Kansas City"), where he just destroys everything the city holds dear. His insults were daggers, delivered with a huge sh*t-eating grin and an obvious pleasure that was, honestly, kind of infectious. The crowd at the arena surely hated him, but most people watching at home were rolling on the floor.
