10 WWE Nightmares That Could Come True In 2024
1. CM Punk Causes Backstage Chaos
You knew this was coming for two reasons.
Firstly, 'cause CM Punk was the featured image for this here piece. Second, because everyone expects fighting Phil to land back on WWE TV at some point. The company might've distanced themselves from that recently, but this is pro wrestling. There's also money to be made.
Would anybody really be shocked if Punk roared back into view with a Royal Rumble berth, or if he was deemed ideal for a match vs. Seth Rollins come 'Mania? Marquee matches opposite Rollins, Roman Reigns and a few others could drum up massive interest, but they'd come with a possible price.
WWE's locker room is fairly settled at the moment. No-one there wants anyone to come in and upset things, but Punk has a proven track record of causing chaos. He's a strong-minded individual, to say the least, and there's no chance WWE wants some of the PR nightmare AEW just lived.
Be very careful here.
