10 WWE NXT Main Roster Call-Ups That Must Happen In 2018

7. Sanity

This is a tricky one.

Eric Young, Killian Dain, and Nikki Cross are more than good enough for the main roster, and Alexander Wolfe is a very solid worker himself, though he rarely gets a chance to show it. The problem is that their act is the absolute pits. Sanity is a lame, go-nowhere gimmick that offers little upward mobility (Cross is particularly hamstrung by her 'crazy' character), and unless the quartet can shed it, they'll go nowhere on the main roster.

Regardless, what else could these performers possibly learn in the Performance Center? Young is a 19-year veteran with bags of charisma, and a perfect sports entertainment working style. Dain is one of the most three-dimensional big men in the business. Cross' in-ring chops are bettered only by a handful in her division. Wolfe has been at this for well over a decade. There's nothing wrong with their skill-sets at all: the gimmick is their only hinderance, and must eventually be refined in order to maximise each performer.

No matter what happens with their characters, a mid-year call-up looks likely for the chaotic group, who've now been together since October 2016.
