Once one of NXT's biggest busts, Andrade 'Cien' Almas' prospects have improved immeasurable since recruiting Zelina Vega as his manager. The former Thea Trinidad arrived in July, and has completely transformed the current NXT Champion's game by removing his one notable weakness (promos), and allowing him to focus on his greatest strengths (heel charisma, prodigious in-ring abilities).

We always knew Almas was a great wrestler, but now, for the first time since joining WWE in November 2015, he feels like a star. Vega was the missing piece of the puzzle. She's an excellent manager, and their union has produced immediate results, with Andrade going from someone who was lucky to even make it onto a TakeOver card to NXT Champion in less than six months.

He'll likely hold onto the title for much of 2018's first quarter, Almas is now more than ready for the jump. The company would be wise to let his reign pan out naturally, then hotshot both him and Vega into a lofty position on Raw or SmackDown, immediately establishing them on the upper-midcard. It's nothing less than what they deserve at this point, and they'd likely soar straight to the top.
