Traditionally, the tag line for Armageddon was 'The End Is Here'. That could be perfect for Shane McMahon's ongoing feud with Vince, Stephanie and Triple H. Back in 1999, it was actually 'The Game' who fought Vince over Stephanie's loyalty. The return of the event title would hark back to those days, only that trio are now united against a common threat. '99 featured the first Armageddon event in WWE history, with the last taking place in 2008. The show was skipped in 2001, replaced temporarily by Vengeance, which just so happened to be the night on which Chris Jericho became the first ever Undisputed Champion. That was a first, the next iteration of Armageddon could be promoted around the idea of a last. Imagine Armageddon had Vince McMahon's future up in the air. Vince has (apparently) previously spoken a few years ago about wanting to step away from any role on screen, and this could be the perfect opportunity to finally write him out of things for good. That would necessitate some real thought, but it's an interesting concept at least.
