10 WWE Questions You Most Want Answered (June 20)

9. Dolph Ziggler's Future In Wrestling?

From @ThatDudeSings: Dolph Ziggler's contract supposedly expires in September. Does he stick it out with WWE or take his talents elsewhere?
This is a story that I covered recently with former WWE writer Court Bauer saying Ziggler's deal is done in a few months and it's possible that Ziggler may leave unless he gets a push. It's hard to really know what Ziggler is thinking, but it really could go either way. The advantage of working elsewhere is a much lighter schedule. He works five days a week with WWE with long flights and drives all the time. If he worked for companies like TNA, ROH or Lucha Underground the schedule is much nicer, but the exposure is a lot less. It would allow for him to do more comedy shows too, if that's something he wants to do more of. He should stay with WWE because it's the big leagues but the temptation to see the grass being greener on the other side is always there, particularly if you feel undervalued. It would be nice if he could leverage his current situation into a raise, as well as a bigger push. In 2011, both CM Punk and Mark Henry had contracts up. They were both given raises and they were both pushed with both becoming World Champions soon after. Ziggler's already been World Champion twice when they had two titles, but neither reign was significant in length. If he is promised something more significant he would probably stay for sure. At 35, Ziggler's at a major turning point in his career. If he stays with WWE maybe he can break through as a main event guy, but if he leaves then he'll get that freedom that a lot of wrestlers covet.
