From @VincentElisar: Do you feel Sheamus was the correct choice to win Money in the Bank?
It's a tough one because if you really think about it, WWE did a poor job of building up others to be top contenders. Roman Reigns was really the only one that was booked strong leading up to it while others were there just to be threats to win or to take some big bumps. Sheamus was a safe choice. They didn't want to go with Reigns because he's already had some title shots, plus he won the Royal Rumble and the attack by Bray Wyatt sets up their feud well. It would have been nice to see Barrett win it just because he might be the most poorly booked performer in the entire company right now. Nobody really knows why he's booked that badly, but for whatever reason he is made to look like such a loser despite winning King of the Ring over a month ago. In WWE's eyes, Sheamus is a former WWE/World Champ that they probably want to get back to that level, which they started doing on Smackdown this week. If he can look like a main eventer again then he's the right choice. If he fails to really get over, which is entirely possible, then they should have picked somebody else. Only time will tell.
