From @sinceMCMXVI: Should WWE make a big deal of a women's WWE/NXT Royal Rumble this year for Diva Title shot? Two Rumbles in one PPV could be brutal though. Thoughts?
I think it would be great. You can probably do it with 15 or 20 women by including women that are currently in NXT or you could bring back some women stars from the past. What's intriguing to me is that it would make a Divas Title match at WrestleMania seem important because the woman that challenges the champion would have really earned her shot. Of course, this would be assuming that WWE actually does a Divas Title match at WrestleMania since most years they tend to go other ways with the women, be it a tag match or a battle royal. If they were to do a Divas Rumble match I'd book Sasha Banks as the winner. They could have Charlotte as the long-term champion and then Banks emerges as the Rumble winner so that WWE sets up that familiar NXT matchup on the grandest stage of them all. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have Charlotte as a cocky heel champ against Banks as the face, either. In the past I've had people suggest doing a women's Money in the Bank match, but now that I think about it a Royal Rumble would work better. Will WWE do it? I hope so!
