10 WWE Releases AEW Needs To Sign

2. The Revival

Does anyone doubt that The Revival is going to show up in All Elite Wrestling sooner or later? This seems to have been an inevitability since long before AEW came into existence, back to when Dash and Dawson were feuding online with The Young Bucks. When it became clear that Matt and Nick weren’t going to be WWE-bound, fans began taking bets on when The Revival would head in the opposite direction.

Well, those who put a pound on ‘Summer 2020’ might be about to cash-in. It isn’t a case of ‘if’, only ‘when’; will AEW wait until the crisis is over and the tag team can debut in front of a white-hot crowd? Or will they be forced to appear in these most curious of circumstances?

It remains to be seen what they will be called, but the multi-time WWE Tag Team Champions are on a collision course with the tag teams of AEW. If anything is going to kick off a new golden period for tag team wrestling, Dash and Dawson arriving in AEW is it.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
