10 WWE Returns Fans Don’t Want (But Secretly Do)

8. Charlotte Flair

Here's that "locked in eventual comeback" mentioned in the intro.

Charlotte Flair will return to WWE screens whether her detractors like it or not, and she will hold even more gold before WrestleMania 41 season comes and goes. Picturing Charlotte as a totally-forced smiling babyface is enough to give one a headache, but there is an upside to her imminent return.

Namely, Flair's star power and experience. Women like Jade Cargill, Blair Davenport, Tiffany Stratton, Liv Morgan and more would benefit from working with someone as decorated as Charlotte. Even her harshest critics must quietly relent that the 'Queen' has a ready-made storyline with Queen Of The Ring (and ex-rival) Nia Jax too.

Triple H could be forgiven for booking all of those matches and scenarios once Charlotte is able to haul on a pair of boots and get to work. She was one of the first stars from WWE's female revolution era, and everything she does will be watchable.

No grinning false promos though, please.
