10 WWE Returns That Nobody Asked For (Which Ended Up Being Awesome)

1. Kane (2011)

Similar to the Big Show, Kane was a performer who fans had grown a little bit tired of after 15+ years of chokeslamming various stars to hell.

So, when Glenn Jacobs took some time off after being attacked by Mark Henry in July 2011, the majority of the WWE Universe didn't honestly miss the maskless "Big Red Machine". However, when he finally made his return to the company in December, he came equipped with a chilling new metallic mask and ring attire to match. Both of which immediately got fans talking about him again.

Moments after making his presence known during a match between Henry and John Cena on Raw, Kane then revealed yet another new face cover and attacked the latter. This villainous iteration of the character then took part in a rather disappointing feud with the "Leader of the Cenation", it must be said. Yet, another rivalry involving this latest version of the Kane character soon made his return a worthwhile endeavour.

After battling with CM Punk and Daniel Bryan in 2012, Kane found himself and Bryan enrolled in hilarious anger management classes. These skits would ultimately lead to the formation of "Team Hell No" and set the stage for arguably Kane's last universally acclaimed run in the company.

Just when we thought the former WWE Champion had given us all he had, Kane went and showed us once again why he's one of the most diverse performers ever to step foot in a WWE ring.
