10 WWE Returns We Can Expect For 2018
4. The Rock
It's been some time since fans last saw The Rock in a WWE ring. In fact, it's been a year and a half since he made his memorable appearance at WrestleMania 32, defeating Eric Rowan in an impromptu, six second match.
'The Great One' has made a habit of dipping in and out of WWE ever since he finally came "home" in 2011. Despite appearing off-air on Raw in February this year, The Rock was conspicuous by his absence at WrestleMania 33, which leaves the possibility of a return for WrestleMania 34 all the more likely.
Johnson recently gained headlines when it was announced that he was executive producer of the soundtrack for the new WWE 2K18 video game. While that news was a million miles away from the kind of Rocky news wrestling fans wanted to hear, it did show that he still has an active interest in today's WWE product.
The fact that WrestleMania 34 is held at the New Orleans Superdome - the very site where he memorably shared the ring with Austin and Hogan four years earlier at WrestleMania XXX - adds further fuel to the fire and a big stage return for 'The People's Champ' would surely put smiles on people's faces.
