While most are used to the bearded, cackling Barrett that currently reigns as Intercontinental champion, there was a time when the Brit was a rookie with a booming voice, a background as a legitimately tough bare knuckle fighter and a clean shaven appearance that simply did not match the rest of the presentation. He looked like he should be wearing an overcoat and attending royal dinners rather than breaking people's faces for a living.
